The 3500/20 is a rack interface module designed and developed by Bently Nevada. The main interface of a 3500 rack is the Rack Interface Module (RIM). It supports proprietary protocols for configuring racks and retrieving mechanical data. The RIM must be placed in rack slot 1. (Near the power supply). RIM supports compatible Bentley Nevada external communication processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX.
