在考虑到变频器的效率为95%，则渣浆泵用变频调速后节能率在41%上下。改造完成用有功电度表进行计量，节能率在40%，与计算相差不大。计算表明，改造后变频系统对比原来工频系统工作节能达40%，在1年运行周期内就可收回投资。

四、改造后的其它效果

1）由于变频可实现电机软起动，或减少了电机起动时对电网和机械的冲击，使设备寿命延长。

2）用变频调速后，渣浆泵的转速大部分时间内变慢了，减少了废液介质对泵、阀门、管道的磨损。在没改变频器之前每3-5个月就要更换一次管网出口阀门，改用变频控制后1年才换一次，维修费用大大降低。

3）之前专门有人负责看管、操作这台设备，改为变频控制后，实现了自动运行、无人值守，节省了人工成本。
