1. Measurement principle
Fluke 1630-2 adopts the auxiliary pole-free test method, which eliminates the need to disconnect the parallel ground electrode and find a suitable location for placing the auxiliary ground rod. The tester snaps around a ground rod or connecting cable, with half of it sensing a known voltage and the other half measuring current, automatically determining the ground loop resistance of the ground connection.
