大功率模块开关电源的损耗主要有高频开关损耗、高频变压器损耗、整流损耗和线路传导损耗4部分。而在低电压大电流输出的应用场合,整流损耗和线路传导损耗占有较大的比重,输出电压越低,输出电流越大,则整流损耗和线路传导损耗占模块开关电源总损耗的比重越大。

二极管损耗

在传统的整流中采用二极管整流,而在低电压输出条件下一般采用肖特基二极管整流,肖特基二极管和其他整流二极管相比具有开关速度快,正向电压降低的优点,但是肖特基二极管的正向电压降和整流输出电流的大小有关,整流输出电流越大则正向电压降越大,有可能高达0.5~0.6V或更大,并且肖特基二极管的反向漏电流较大。

而同步整流技术利用导通电阻小,低耐电压的场效应管(MOSFET)来代替普通整流二极管。由于同步整流MOSFET具有导通电阻低(一般只有几mΩ)、阻断时漏电流小、开关工作频率高的特点,可以*大的减小电源整流部分的功耗,使电源系统的工作效率明显得到提高,但是在具体应用中同步整流的实现要比二极管整流要复杂些。在开关电源的低电压大电流输出应用场合,同步整流技术有着很好的应用前景。
