FFU的外观目前，全所有厂家生产的FFU，从外观上可这样划分:从形状上分两种，一种是长方体（如图1所示），一种上部为坡形（如图2所示）。图2所示的FFU的上部做成坡形，起到了一种导流的作用，有利于气流的流动和均匀分布。图1所示的FFU则一般依靠另外的途径来均衡气流。从结构上分两种，一种为整体（如图3所示），一种为分体（如图4所示）。分体形状的FFU有如下优势：使过滤器的换变得方减小了安装过程中的劳动强度。
