该产品是建立在无合作目标激光测距技术和精密数字测角技术之上的。极坐标测量法与计算机技术紧密相结合, 加上专门设计的图象处理软件, 能迅速得到断面图并与设计图进行对比, 以至可以快速给出检测报告等文件。由于采用了大容量的内存, 本仪器在现场不须使用笔记本计算机, 即可检测记录多组断面数据。操作者可以在回到办公室后, 输入到任何壹台PC机中去, 在本仪器提供的台式机软件基础上可以进行数据处理和作图等工作。适用于井下巷道或非井下隧道的开挖断面检测、工程限界验收检测、以及巷道或隧道的断面形变检测等场合之中。也可用于小于60米以内的建筑物距离的检测、或类似的其他条件的检测应用中。如正在开发的公路、铁路路基土石方快速测算, 桥梁静载测试, 护坡挡土墙的验收检测等工作。
