该产品是一种小型便携式硬度计，适用于快速方便地测量铝合金硬度，可测量其它仪器不能或不便测量的外形，如挤压型材、管材、板材等。测量过程对工件无损伤，并且不必取样。特别适用于在生产现场、销售现场或施工现场对产品进行快速非破坏性的硬度检查。是中国有色金属行业标准YS/T420－2000认可的两种仪器之一，该仪器已应用于国内大多数铝型材厂和许多门窗幕墙企业、铝材使用单位及工程质检技术监督部门。用途：确定工件有无热处理，检查热处理效果，判定材料力学性能是否合格。确定工件是否为不适当的合金加工而成，判定材料合金成分是否合格。测量不便送到实验室的过长、过重工件或装配件。用于生产检验、验收检验和质量监督检验。
